Beesline® Apitherapy Ultrascreen SPF50 Active Protection Cream is an active mineral sunscreen with moisturizing & water-resistant properties that sits visibly on the surface of the skin & reflects UV rays rather than absorbing them, for a healthier sun protection. It contains active ingredients like sunflower oil, beeswax, wheatgerm oil, titanium dioxide, vitamin E etc. Bees wax (Cera Apis Mellifer) is a nutritious substance rich in vitamin A, beneficial to cell reconstruction and in specific fatty acids, compatible with skin lipids. Beeswax acts as an emollient and humectant to regenerate and soften skin by drawing moisture to the surface and sealing it in. Titanium dioxide is a white mineral pigment used as a colorant in cosmetics. It can absorb the sun’s ultraviolet radiation, and thereby, protect the skin from sunburn and other damaging effects of UV radiation. Due to its ability to absorb the broadest spectrum of ultraviolet radiation, titanium dioxide has been approved by the FDA for use in sunscreen lotion and creams.
